Registration
process given the limit of inscriptions
In order to ensure the safety,
comfort and full interaction among participants, and given the infrastructure
available for the event, the organizing committee of WNRio2012 will proceed
as described below:
1) Considering an estimated
limit of 1500 participants the organizers of WNRio2012 reserve to themselves
the right of closing the registration for new participants when achieving
this number of paid subscriptions, not accepting, therefore, on-site
registration;
2) Given the objectives of the congress, it will be allowed up to 150
inscriptions from undergraduate students;
3) Once reached these limits, the system will continue to accept new
registrations on a waiting list, and the participants will be notified
of this condition. Those who have made their applications before the
limit (1350 for non-undergraduates and 150 undergraduate students) and
who have not made the payment will be notified to do so up to a defined
deadline. If this is not done up to this deadline, the registration
will be cancelled automatically.
4) For each cancellation made, a name on the waiting list will be called
in the order of registration. Each person called will have a deadline
for paying the fee. If he/she doesn’t make it, his/her registration
will be cancelled and the next on the list will be called. This procedure
will be done until the limit of 1,500 paying members is achieved.
It should be clarified that all
abstracts submitted will be evaluated even if the author is on the waiting
list. Thus, if an author has an abstract accepted and is in the waiting
list, he/she will have the opportunity to present it if he/she becomes
part of the list of participants effectively registered.
