Before sending an abstract
participants must pre-register
at the conference website, and create a login and password. These will
be required for abstract submission and follow-up for abstract evaluation.
After pre-registration the
participant will then need to login to his/her restricted area and access
the menu "My abstracts" where abstracts will
be posted directly using the specified form. Abstracts must be enrolled
in one of the themes (1-6) and at least one of the defined subthemes.
Abstracts may be written in Portuguese or English. To broaden the understanding
of the abstracts by the participants of the congress, we suggest the
authors should submit their abstracts in both languages if possible.
The submission form has spaces for abstracts to be presented in both
languages. Abstracts must be submitted through the congress website
up to Nov 09, 2011. Authors
can revise abstracts until the last day of submission.
Abstracts will be accepted
for consideration only if written in accordance with the spelling and
grammatical rules of the language(s) chosen, as well as in compliance
with the text formatting described. It is not necessary to pay the registration
fee for the congress at the time of submission of abstracts. However,
after acceptance of the abstract, to ensure its presentation and publication
in the proceedings, the presenting author (main author or co-author)
will be required to make the payment within the period specified by
the organizers, which will be indicated on the website as well as in
the electronic acceptance notification letter.

This video is a documentary of the project "Food, Health and

for the adoption of healthy eating practices, taking cooking as
the basis of this educational strategy. The video features testimonials
from the group responsible for the project as well as project participants

cooking” workshop, focus group, discussion on conceptual issues
linked to the subject and project evaluation). The following aspects
are highlighted: the centrality of cooking in the promotion of healthy

of collective learning and of encouraging the development of culinary
skills. It is directed primarily to health care and education professionals.
